[unpaid/sample] So, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any Flower beauty – to the point (because like everyone else, I haven’t been in shops) that I wondered if it still existed. If you need a reminder, it’s a make-up range created by Drew Barrymore who I think picked her market well in creating affordable beauty at a time when most celebrity launches were taking every last penny from their ‘fans’.

Flower Beauty

I think it’s cute – those Flower Blushes are pretty and I’d rather have something that’s pleasing on the eye than purely utilitarian. The Petal Power Lip Mask is interesting – it’s a (slightly gummy) balm with a golden shimmer shot running through it.

Flower Beauty

I don’t think I’ve seen that exact delivery componentry before BUT effective as it is, it does mean you use a lot at a time – and there isn’t much in it in the first place. I’ve got to be honest and say I got a bit of back-taste from it but did enjoy the very light shimmers that elevated it from a clear balm to one that looks pretty.

Flower Beauty

The Lip Mask is in shade Lucky (there are six shades) and is £10.99 while the Flower Pot Blush is in Sweet Pea and is £11.99. There is a three for two offer on at Superdrug (exclusive UK stockist) so if you want to dip into the flower power, now is the time. There are more exciting things than the two samples I’ve been sent – definitely worth a cruise around the home page. Find the collection HERE
