Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil

[productsample/affiliatelink] I’m told there are still queues around the block on the weekend for the Fenty counter at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. Fantastic – this is a brand that has resonated hard with so many people who felt less represented in beauty world that it has to serve as a lesson to other brands.

Fenty Killawatt Foil

There’s some newness in the Killwatt family, including Penny4uthots – a chunky-glitter hit deep toned highlighter that’s anything but shy. It’s super-metallic in a chocolate-copper colour – looking at the Harvey Nichols website, the colour looks slightly different to my version, so you might want to see it in person before buying. It’s £28.

Fenty Sun Stalk’r

There is also a new set of bronzers for all tones – the one shown here is Inda Sun but there are seven others. It’s a matte formula so great for contouring as well as just bringing warmth to your skin. Other shades are Shady Biz, Private Island, I$sland Ting, Bajan Gyal, Caramel Cutie, Coco Naughty and Mocha Miami. Quite nicely priced at £23 too. If you really want to up the skin glow, the new Freestyle Highlight Duo in Afternoon Snack and Mo’Honey, £28, goes from sheen to shimmer in highly reflective champagne tones.

In the swatch, bottom to top, it’s Penny4uthots, Inda Sun, Afternoon Snack and Mo’Honey. The link is HERE, non affiliate HERE.

Body Lava

As a quick PS, there’s a new Body Lava on the way – Who Needs Clothes! It’s more champagne toned that the existing shades, Trophy Wife and Brown Sugar and suits all tones. These Body Lavas are really exceptional in giving skin a shimmering gleam with a gel-oil like base and a million tiny twinkles in every application. It’s got a kind of tropical vanilla scent which is the only thing I don’t like but I haven’t seen better in this category.

Who dreams up these names? Trophy Wife? Does no one in their product/marketing office have anything between their ears? Who on earth thought this was a great name and why?

      I think possibly it’s ironic?

The irony is lost on me but I think it’s tacky.

      I agree!
