Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb

Oh my! I cannot tell you just how shimmery the new Fenty Diamond Bomb highlighter is. It’s just gleaming!

If you look in the mirror you’ll see – my camera (or my skills) struggle a bit with high shimmer but it looks more precise in the mirror reflection and more true to life.

As you can see, there’s also a lip gloss – Gloss Bomb. I love that the theme is silver in rose gold packaging.. it’s not a combination that you see very often and it works so well. When it comes to textures, the gloss is as you’d expect – a little bit tacky so it stays put but not so sticky that its uncomfortable. It gives a silver shot sheet across the lips or over a lipstick. The Glitter Bomb itself is so soft – it’s actually lovely to touch, kind of velvety – and when you pass your brush over it the pick up is just right. You probably want to go with its intent which is to scatter shimmer across wherever you’re putting it rather than at a higher intensity, but by all means try at a higher level on lids or lips.

I’d say that both are perfect for any snow-queen, icy looks you might want to create as well as just for dabs here and there – they’re super, super pretty. Oh, I should say the colour is called “How Many Carats?”. It’s £30 HERE, and the gloss is called Diamond Milk and it’s £16 HERE. It’s definitely worth looking at how they’re worn on the Harvey Nichols site – they’re featuring pale and dark tones and the colours are equally lovely on either.
