Avalanche All-Over Metallic Powder Set

I think this is one for people who love the application ritual of make up – the pick up on the brush, the tapping off of excess and the colour building over the lid. If you just like to swipe and go, the Fenty Avalanche All-Over Metallic Powder Set definitely isn’t for you!

Avalanche All-Over Metallic Powder Set

Inside the box you’ll find seven pots of metallic powder for you do as you please with. You can add to gloss, create eye looks, cheek looks – anything really. I see quite a lot of loose powder colours like this and there is definitely a range of qualities. Some slip away from from your brush, others fall off it before it even reaches your eyes, but these are the right consistency to hold to the brush very nicely, and the colours (I tried two) didn’t particularly drop. It’s a good idea to transfer your brush to the palm of your hand first and sort of mix the colour there before you take straight to the eye – it pushes all the colour grains together so you have a more workable formulation. My only slight issue is that the blue shade doesn’t want to leave your skin – they’re all so pigmented that I think you could find you have a blue tinge the next day!

Avalanche All-Over Metallic Powder Set

You can have a lot of fun mixing colours together to create your own bespoke shades (I wish they’d included a mixing dish to encourage that) or just wear them as they come. The textures are powder soft and I think you have almost a life time supply here of powders! Quite right too at £74 HERE.

As you can see, the shades are all very vibrant – imagine mixing the light gold and that blue! Shades in the swatch from bottom to top are: Raspberry Rave, Foxy, Cleopatra, Ice Cream, Brain Freeze, February and Glacier Gang.
