Proving that big spends on beauty really aren’t essential anymore, the Essence Fall Palette All About Roses is so pretty. I’ve noticed that palettes are starting to use very, very pale shades and although I understand the need for light and dark, they’re often so close to each other in tone that I wonder why they’re there. So I would say that for the first two shades in this palette, but everything else is impactful in its way, especially at £3.99!
As you can see, pigment is perfectly good. The textures are soft and there’s a mix of matte and shimmer. The Essence Fall Palette All About Roses is one of five palettes from Essence for Fall/Winter – the others are All About Nudes, Bronzes, Greys & Vintage (I’m intrigued by the idea of a ‘vintage’ shade palette). There are a lot of new products coming from Essence and even though they are for next season, they’ll start filtering into stores from August. You can find out more on their UK site HERE.

The shades in this palette are so pretty! Although I hardly use eyeshadow, I think I may have to pick up one of the new palettes they bring out for next season! x

Wow, this is gorgeous!! I hear you on the light shades in palettes lately. This looks really pretty and essence is always such a great value. I don’t always see the LE stuff here in the US. Hopefully I can get my hands on this!
I would love to see you model the eyeshadows. Plus I could take tips. I hope you can consider this.
