Proving that big spends on beauty really aren’t essential anymore, the Essence Fall Palette All About Roses is so pretty. I’ve noticed that palettes are starting to use very, very pale shades and although I understand the need for light and dark, they’re often so close to each other in tone that I wonder why they’re there. So I would say that for the first two shades in this palette, but everything else is impactful in its way, especially at £3.99!
As you can see, pigment is perfectly good. The textures are soft and there’s a mix of matte and shimmer. The Essence Fall Palette All About Roses is one of five palettes from Essence for Fall/Winter – the others are All About Nudes, Bronzes, Greys & Vintage (I’m intrigued by the idea of a ‘vintage’ shade palette).
