[unpaid/sample] So, this collection of lip and cheek gels has been sitting in my ‘to test’ box for months and somehow I’ve never quite got round to it which is definitely my bad because oh my goodness! These are quite a find.
These are generous tubes of colour that work better on lips than cheeks (in my view) but lead as an ingredient with argan oil so no wonder they’re so balmy and hydrating. The shades in the set I have (they’re available individually) are very creamy and in the case of the pink-ish colours, are a bit milky in the finish which I love.
As you can see, there is a gloss element to it (which is why I suggest that it’s better on lips than cheeks) and I’d say the coverage is medium. Very, very comfortable in the wear but as with any oil product will need reapplication as and when. Ingredients are argan oil, castor seed oil, castor oil, beeswax (so not vegan) and carnauba – then the colour pigments. They’re £16 each.

See? Pretty, aren’t they? The shades are Sweet Love, Rose and Berry Burst with my favourite being Sweet Love that has a bit of coral to it. If you need a moistureful lip cover, these fit the bill really well being just a bit more than a tinted balm and not as hard on the delicate lip skin as a full on lipstick. They’re HERE.
