Dior City of Love Lipstick

Dior City of Love Lipstick

This post is for true beauty addicts who know a lipstick they will never use when they see one! I was sent as a present this Asia only exclusive Dior City Of Love lipstick and it’s SO beautiful. A specific mould has been made to incorporate the Eiffel Tower, a Renee Grau-esq figure and a Parisian bridge (I’m not up to date on my Paris bridges so not sure which one it’s supposed to be) all in the most beautiful detail.

I can’t believe there is a bit of fluff on the top of this! Grr. But this is my best picture to give you a look at the level of detail. It’s not really any surprise that this is to be found in Japan and Korea – Japan has some of the best mould makers (think Paul & Joe who get all their moulds made there). Surprisingly, there isn’t that much information about this mini collection (there is also a blush) that’s in celebration of Dior’s 70th anniversary. I’m delighted to have it (I’ve seen them on Ebay going for $80+) as a real piece of beauty art.

How lovely.. is it not available here and in France at all? Be lovely if a brand did a London one! Xx

Wow, it really is gorgeous. How lucky to have!

Straight in the ‘keeps’ drawer! That’s a beauty. As a teenager I would obsessively buy high end red lipsticks, just to twist them up & look at them.
It almost makes me retch when I see instagrammers chopping them up. Or worse the Charlotte Tilbury ads with a twisted up lipstick bullet clenched between teeth – just imagining teeth marks or even a tiny knock against the perfection makes my legs go wobbly!
