Clinique Black Honey Mascara

Clinique Black Honey Mascara

I promised a swatch of Clinique Black Honey Lash Fattening Mascara – launching on 31st July (hurry uppppppp!). As you can see, it’s kind of a blackened burgundy colour (although showing slightly more purple than I see it) and it’s a rough application, I know.. I just wanted to get enough on the falsies so you can see it. On real lashes, it’s a pretty smooth coating and certainly very lengthening. The thing about Black Honey – which I promise I have worn every single day since I got it – is that it goes to near black on the lashes; it’s almost only you’ll know why your lashes have a little nuance to them, and it’s a bit of a shock at make-up take off time to see that it’s not black that comes away on the cotton pad.

Clinique suggest this shade for green eyes, but it’s working for me on brown. I’d personally try it on any colour eyes!

This would be especially stunning on green or hazel eyes, definitely, but I think it’s a fun way to mix it up for anyone 🙂

Ooooh, what a great colour. Perfect for my green eyes. 🙂

So far I only saw blue, teal, and purple mascaras that all are not that great for my green eyes. Burgundy is my favorite color (also like Clinique black honey eyeliner) and I will definitely buy this one! 🙂 I hope this is not a LE.
