There are so many line extensions this season instead of new products (cost cutting or added extras – you decide!) Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector was an immediate hit for Clarins when it first launched. It leaves a juicy wash of colour across your lips to make them look glossier than most balms would.
The new shades are Hot Pink (looks coral to me!) and Plum which is a rather warm deep pink shade. I like the slender shape of them and it does make for a very easy application without fear of going outside the lines if you’re just re-balming on the bus! There’s enough colour in them for them to be more than a ‘wash’ but they retain their translucency. The only other thing of note is that they taste very, very sweet – almost like saccharin. It’s better than vanilla but I think you’ll be surprised at just how sweet they are.
