This latest launch from Ciate is tapping into the no make-up trend so aims to give dewy and lit without sparkles or glitter. It’s also bang on for the ‘fashion sweat’ trend.. I know.. I can’t even (think shiny blurred lips at LFW). I think if you’re good with the more extreme version of this look, which kind of lends to catwalk or instagram but not so much in real life, this might be a handy buy for ultimate cheek gleam.
On the skin, it’s quite a wet/oily feel with a slightly pearlised finish. Weirdly, it smells of vanilla. The texture is supposed to dry down to a non-sticky finish but to be honest, it never did really ‘dry’ on me.
I’ve gone overboard for swatch purposes but ideally you’d just do one swipe over cheekbones or even to wet-look your eyeshadow.. but vanilla smelling eyes? I don’t know about that! If you like the look of it, it’s £22 (pricy in my view) but has yet to launch on the Ciate site.
