Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2

These are FINE looking lipsticks – really, some of the best I’ve seen in a long while. On brand, beautifully produced and completely enticing. Better yet, they’re mix and match, customisable and refillable. My money is on the red leopard print to sell out first, followed by the gold. The collection collaborates with the charity Women for Women and they have a £1 million pledge of Hot Lips sales which is actually remarkable… just in case you need any further reason for a new lippie! The lipsticks are in two different formulas, KISSING (sheen) and Matte Revolution.

Above, Red Hot Susan (matte) and JK Magic (kissing)- reportedly named for JK Rowling. How fab!

This is Enigmatic Edward (I’m assuming named for Edward Enninful, editor of Vogue) which is a clear balm, and Dancefloor Princess (kissing).

Angel Alessandra (kissing) next to Patsy Red (matte).

The first shade is Amazing Amal (matte) followed by Glowing Jen (kissing) and Carina’s Star (matte).

Finally, In Love With Olivia (kissing) and Viva La Vergara (matte). Whew! Through and all correct. The brand’s website swatches are so much better than mine, but here goes:

Off topic, but I have found a really good pressed setting powder for dry skin….Clarins Ever Matte Mineral pressed powder. My beloved Lancome Dual Finish Powder got discontinued in Australia and I have literally tried high & low every powder (MAC, EL, Dior, Chanel, Clinique, Bare Minerals, drugstore etc) and this is the next best thing next to Lancome. It’s silky smooth, adds a bit of coverage but not powder foundation coverage and seem give an airbrushed finish. The shade range is crap but can’t complain. Apparently the Queen uses this powder so if it is good enough for the Queen it will be good enough for me.

I really need my eyes testing.
I thought ‘brave move, indeed, to call a lipstick Amazing Anal’.
    I’m so sorry.
