Chantecaille Summer 2018: Swatches

Chantecaille Summer 2018

So, I now have all the information on the gorgeous summer collection from Chantecaille. First of all, there are just the three items (for some reason, I thought perhaps there would be more – maybe some gloss) and I’ve swatched them. The inspiration for the collection is the Amalfi Coast (a reader told me that it’s Positano on the bronzer palette) and the bronzer is called Sirena and it’s £68. The formula has pearl pigments so it’s very light textured on the skin – it literally feels as though you’re wearing nothing on your complexion. It’s a mid-tone bronzer with a light gold highlight – you can easily do a bit of swirling together if you’re lighter toned to lift the bronze shade.

The two Luminescent Eye Shadows are £42 each (gulp!) . The textures (non-drop) are again, super light. Barely there on the skin in feel, and easily blendable for either a wash of lid colour or something more intense and light catching. The golden peachy shade is Sole and the aqua green shade is Mare. Use a bigger eye brush if you want a wash, and a smaller, more densely fibred brush if you want intense. The collection launches in May – I don’t have an exact date, but I’ll definitely flag when they go live.

The green eyeshadow looks gorgeous and I don’t wear green shadows. But sorry too expensive.

  2. Thank you for doing the swatches.I’ve noticed that the swatching hasn’t seem to affect the pattern on it. So beautiful!
