I’ll say up front that I know next to nothing about this forthcoming summer collection from Chantecaille. I saw it at press day and literally begged for the only samples so that I could show you – I will revisit, obviously, as I’m sure there are more items. What I can tell you is that it’s the brand’s 20th anniversary this year so they’re really pushing the boat out.
As you can see, it’s super summery, with photo lids of sun umbrellas and beach scenes, bursting with colour and life. It’s reminding me a little bit of the Charlotte Tilbury collaboration with Norman Parkinson depictions.
I have here a bronzer/highlighter palette with one of the most immaculate finishes I’ve ever seen, plus two Luminescent Eye Shades.

It’s like opening a box of sunshine! There is so much light bounce and gleam coming from the eye colours in particular. The golden shade is actually a duo-chrome, shifting from a bronze gold to a golden pink. It’s very, very shimmery.
You can see that everything has a wave like ripple effect.
The other shade, Mare, is a silvery sage green in more of a satin finish than shimmer.
You can see better in this picture the finish on the bronzer – it looks almost liquid! I know we had a peep of summer over the weekend, so hopefully the hot weather mood hasn’t vanished yet and it’s got us itching for all the beautiful summer colours on their way. I cannot wait to find out more about this sneaky peek at Chantecaille Summer 2018 and as soon as I do, you will too.
