[productsample/affiliate] Before I review the cheek gelee, I need to flag up that the beautiful animal eye shadows have launched – so far I can only find them at Look Fantastic who seems to have been quick off the mark, which you’ll also need to be!

Chantecaille Luminscent Eye Shades

They’re £48 HERE.

Chantecaille Cheek Gelee

This is new shade, Vibrant, a raspberry-ish colour with very slightly brown undertones. It’s the very perfect shade for a cheek wash that doesn’t look like blush (unless you build it, which you can) but rather a natural cheek flush. I think that’s the holy grail for blush makers – to find a shade so seamless that it really does replicate human health, visually of course. It’s good, but not that good!

Chantecaille Cheek Gelee

It’s particularly good for anyone who prefers a tinted moisturiser over a foundation, or even no base at all other than moisturiser and if you have the vestiges of summer warmth in your tone, so much the better. This shade, actually, suit all skin tones from the very deepest (who may need to layer) to the very palest (who will only need a whisper of it). The texture is cool on the skin because of the water content but it’s hydrating too, so it will never do that thing that some cheek stains do of adhering to any dry patches. It’s expensive – everything from this brand is – at £39 HERE but I think it will see you into next year as you need so little.
