Chanel Les Beiges 2018

Chanel Les Beiges 2018

I do not, ever, get tired of Les Beiges. There has been an annual Les Beiges collection since 2013 to celebrate a more natural, summer-sympathetic colour palette and the freedom of less heavy textures. Starting with the Healthy Glow Natural Luminous Multi Colour Powder (£42).. this comes in three colour ways – light, medium (above) and deep. It’s blush, bronzer or an all over sweep of warmth for the complexion.

Next up, the Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette which also comes in three colour ways – the first time ever, I think. It comes in light, medium and deep (above) and has five colours, split between matte and shimmery. The deep is completely my preference because it’s the perfect combination of golds and browns for me: the medium is more muted but in the same vein and the light runs more to pink. You can also see the Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Blush Stick (£35) which is a vibrant coral shade shot through with gold shimmer.

The sparkle is most obvious in the mirror!

My favourite product is the Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser SPF30 (such a little bottle though!). I love Chanel foundations and generally turn to them in late spring because they’re great at doing summer bases. Looking at my Healthy Glow Foundation from last summer, it’s 30ml, and so is the Moisturiser – just goes to show how packaging can be deceptive because I could have sworn there was less tinted moisturiser than foundation!

It’s a smooth and soft texture that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it gives a fresh, warm toned look. It’s £37 and comes in six shades. Mine above is Medium, but you can also find Light, Medium Light, Medium Plus, Light Deep and Deep.

In the swatch above, it’s the Deep palette first, followed by the Stick Blush followed by the Healthy Glow Lip Balm (£31) in Deep. It also comes in Light and Medium. The texture is a wash of colour within a very balmy, silky consistency – really beautiful for sheer coverage when the sun is high the sky is blue. You can find the collection HERE.

Oh! Gorgeous collection..and chic sunglasses too Jane . The powder compact looks just the job to warm up my summer. I like Les Beiges foundation for the “me but better and not caked on” look! Xx

Are the tinted moisturisers all pink in tone? I am looking for a yellow based tinted moisturiser.
Are they the same formulation as the all in one healthy glow fluid that was discontinued?
    Thanks

I don’t know about it being the same formulation – and there’s a good selection of shades – I’m not pink toned and they’re great for me.

As always, before I venture to update, purchase, restock my cosmetics, this is whom I immediately turn to and trust! As one hit her 50s, things change. Then when diagnosed w/ Lung Cancer last year, EVERYTHING changed! That said, no matter how ill, exhausted, depressed I felt, I refused to EVER leave the house for chemo/radio without a full face on. On the train to/from London,my walking stick, well dressed, even heels, with hubby toting my O2 tank, its tube across my face to my nose, must have been a sight! But, this was also why decided to use my tube w/my blusher together to highlight, NOT shrink. The more hair I lost, the more Red my lippy became, going from a neutral/rose lips kind of lady, to wearing the bravest, deepest wine reds by the end of my 1st round of treatments:) In fact, during the darkest moments, it was a smile, a nod from strangers on the train, signalling without pity their silent acknowledgement of my situation, my pride, and my determination to “appear” vibrant, that made me feel as if I genuinely WAS!
I’ve used/collected Chanel exclusively for decades, an avid addict to BBB reviews, with my only deviations for skin care/essentials, to which I turn to Jane for her expertise as well. I am still rather convinced we may have met at a fashion, beauty or LFW event. Approx 2010, I was writing/attending events for an International lifestyle mag, and during which an brain injury event interrupted, putting ones life on hold.
All said and done, Jane’s expertise and more so, her Honesty and Integrity are why I have subscribed, followed and read her blog for as long as I can recall, and continue to do so, faithfully, with much joy and respect. Well done Jane, may you long represent us all in our quest for fair, genuine and lovely products. Warmest Regards always, Mrs Robin Elizabeth Budd, aka formerly Lady Budd

Thank you – what an absolutely lovely comment and how kind of you to make it. I’m sorry you’ve had such a tough time but I love that you went all out on lipstick … a bold lipstick is one of life’s strongest statements and it sounds like you really let your cancer know what you thought of it through colour! Well done to you too and thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading xx
