Chanel Les Automnales Fall 2015

I’m kind of pleased to see Chanel roll out some rich brown tones – autumn colours are my least favourite in beauty seasons because they can be very draining on the complexion (I’m the first to love deep and dark shade but on a grizzly November morning.. it’s not always the easiest look in the world!). Without samples to hand (they’re on their way), it’s a bit hard to tell how much the Les Automnales Entrelacs Palette (above) veers into plum shades, but on the surface, it looks very warming and wearable, especially when there’s a beautiful apricot creme blush to accompany the collection. I’m also a complete push-over for embellishment so it’s all boxes ticked here!

Nails are rich and deep.. green is a feature clearly, with Vert Obscur, but I’d opt for Ecorce Sanguine every single time. Speaking of green polish, Chanel have a shade coming out in the next few weeks in a light green (does anyone remember the Jade rush?!) to accompany the new Chance Eau Vive fragrance.

This is Les 4 Ombres Tisse L’Automne – and these fall into the hard to wear on a gloomy November morning category – but that said, Carinne Roitfeld has made an entire style look out of drained, so l shall try to embrace! Alongside these new limited edition palettes within the Chanel Les Automnales Fall 2015 collection, there’s also a coffee brown mascara and four beautiful Stylo Yeux in shimmering copper (limited edition), khaki, bronze and a black/brown. Not everything in the collection is new.

Expect to see Chanel Les Automnales Fall 2015 around August/September time in the UK. I know samples are on their way so I’ll swatch up as soon as I can.
