Chanel Eyes Collection

Chanel Eyes Collection

I have a little snapshot of the new Chanel Eyes Collection that launched in June. The collection comprises new additions to their existing range and includes the new 3D mascara. Starting with the palette above, it’s called Mystere, and it’s not as powerful as it looks (you’ll see in the upcoming swatch) with colours swatching more softly toned than they look in the pan. I could wear all of these colours (and will!) and at first glance I didn’t think I could. It’s £44.

It’s almost painful to swatch the Ombre Premier Cremes – disrupting that gorgeous moussy finish is counter-intuitive! Underneath the fuzzy finish is a silky cream formula in a light apricot colour with a golden shade shift. It’s absolutely lovely and the kind of shade that’s an easy wear no matter what that has the benefit of giving your eyes a bit of a wake up. It’s £26.

The Stylo Ombre et Contour (in Electric Brown, above) is one of the unsung heroes of the Chanel make up collection. You can use it as liner, kohl or eye-shadow and it works well for each use. There are four shades in the new collection – Bleu Nuit, Electric Brown, Nude Eclat and Rouge Noir. I am 100% buying Rouge Noir which is a shade I have never tired of for lips, nails or eyes. The Stylos are £25 each.

John Lewis has a 10% off promotion at the moment so I’m linking HERE. They have everything except the Stylos which you can get HERE.

  1. That’s a lovely quad. They swatched really nicely and I like the shades included.
