So, this is the stand-out palette for Chanel Fall 2015 – and it’s all mattes and satin, something I have never known Chanel to do before. The colours are described by Chanel as golden beige, velvety beige, bronze with golden shimmers, deep brown and beige. Despite them being a mix of satin and matte, I have to say that I find it very hard to tell the difference. They all look matte in the swatch.
Maybe you will think the same? The textures are silky soft and intense – these are one swipe of the applicator, no build up needed. I think it’s basically a nude palette, done Chanel style! Personally, I’d get a lot of use from all the colours – if I can bear to rub away at the pretty patterns. I never like to swatch a patterned palette, preferring to preserve it for all time, but as I now have done it, I might as well enjoy using it.
The Chanel Creation Exclusive Entrelacs is £46 and launches in August.

I think that and the coffee brown mascara you mentioned Chanel we’re bringing out (?) are going on my Buy It list.
Finally an eyeshadow palette that’s not too sparkly!
How does this compare to the Clarins eye palette you recently reviewed?
Clarins is a gentler thing.. lighter on pigment so softer in end result.
This palette has my name written all over it! I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for this as soon as it hits my nearest Chanel counter
I’ve found my perfect everyday matte palette – but why so god damn expensive
