As far as traditional autumnal shades go, Chanel Beauty Fall 2015 has hit the nail on the head. With inspirations taken directly from nature and shades from botanical diversity such as willow catkins and eucalyptus leaves, it’s all shaping up to be rather beautiful.

I’ll cover the Creation Exclusive Entrelacs Limited Edition Palette in a separate post, because it’s the stand out piece of the collection, but in the meantime, these are the swatches from the Les 4 Ombres Tisse d’Autumn palette (£40). As you can see, they’re very rich and deep – and this is literally one swipe of the sponge applicator, so you can take it deeper if you want to.
Joues Contraste in Alezane above (£31) is also limited edition. Chanel never can resist a little sparkle, so it’s a rich brown toned pink with shimmer elements.
Chanel Beauty Fall 2015There are several lip options for the look, including Rouge Coco Shine in Temeraire (£25) above, which is that deep, almost blood like red that we’ve already seen in the NARS Autumn look, so clearly it’s an emerging trend for the season.

There are two Illusion d’Ombre Velvets (moussy type shadows) – Rouge-Gorge which you see in the picture (but unfortunately I don’t have a sample of) and Fleur de Pierre, a silver shot grey. Long last liners come in four shades, of which Ardent is limited edition. Above are Pomme de Pin and Erable.

In the swatch picture, it’s Erable, Pomme de Pin (£19), Alezane Blush, Pierre de Fleur eye shadow and Temeraire lipstick (£25).
The Chanel Beauty Fall 2015 is available from August.

Oh I think this looks really beautiful as a whole. I’ve not paid much attention to Chanel for a while, but this has really caught my eye.
Is the eyeshadow quad very sparkly? Unkind to wrinkly lids?
I’d say it’s more twinkly than sparkly, but I don’t find it particularly cruel!
I have to say that I’m really starting to love the way next seasons trends are turning out. I’d love to see some of the press beauty shots for Chanel. From what I’ve seen on the runways for AW15 the looks have been less carved out-not perfect and defined. Reminds me of water colours. It’s stunning. It’s also been nice to see colours reminiscent of Pantone’s colour of the year Marsala, being used-as it didn’t really feel right in spring for me personally even if I’m more than happy to stray away from pastels. Still embracing summer but it’s nice to have autumn beauty to look forward to!
I’m not usually a big fan of payoff in the quads but must admit this looks gorgeous – and that dark gold liner will def be mine!

I’m looking out for the coffee coloured mascara you mentioned Chanel was bringing out this Fall.
