Buxom Beauty

I have quite a few pieces from the relaunched-in-the-UK Buxom cosmetics so I’m breaking it down into a couple of posts. The brand was in the UK until about 2012 and disappeared (it was created by the founder of bareMinerals and is now owned by Shiseido, as is bareMinerals) but now it’s back with full force in Debenhams.

Buxom

The stand out product for me is the waterproof eyeliner – glides on like a gel but is a very good stayer with an intense depth of colour. You can use on inner or outer rims but it performs best on outer because nothing stays well on inners – it’s £14. I wasn’t at all impressed with the mascara but I’m actually going to request another just in case my sample was a bit dried out because it seems unusual. I just didn’t get much of a coating even with two coats, although it was decently defining. It’s £16.

Buxom

As you can see I have got very dapply light (thank you fig tree growing out of control!) to show you the Divine Goddess Lumizer, but I liked the liquid nature of it and that it’s adaptable – you can add to foundation or liquid blush just to give a bit of a light hit boost, or brush it over wherever light naturally hits for a gentle gleam. It’s not an ultra high gleam product so good for those who don’t want a metalized finish but do want just a tad of a glow. It’s £21. You can find all the new Buxom products at Debenhams HERE.
