The Burberry Christmas 2016 is ALL of the glamour! Easily one of the best collections for Christmas – a lot of gold with accents of red done so tastefully and stylishly – there’s nothing in this collection that doesn’t feel precious in your hands.
My favourites items are the Burberry Kisses Gloss (predictably!), in Parade Red and Gold Shimmer. In the tube Parade Red looks oxblood-ish, but in the swatch you’ll see that it’s got flattering pink tones. Gold Shimmer is as described and rather subtle so you can use it alone or over any other shade. I think the red is an existing shade actually – the collection is stocked on FeelUnique who are offering a gift with purchase so where it’s in stock, I have linked there. If it’s not in stock, I’ve linked to the Burberry Site. So, glosses are HERE (£21).
Aside from the beautiful highlighter (£45 HERE) – very subtle though, not for strobing – there’s a gold lipstick (£25, HERE) and a red, but I think existing), and a shimmering golden polish (£15 HERE).
The one thing I have mixed feelings about is the Shimmer Dust (£20 HERE). It’s highly reflective but for something that’s meant to go on the face, a bit too big – you really need to know what you’re doing with this and while it’s great for a strong, sequin eyes type look, there’s going to be fall out and it’s always going to look a bit accidental!
If you want a stroby, light hit look, then the Gold Touch Shimmer is for you. It looks a little unexciting in the pot but it’s smooth, golden and full of sheen. It’s £25 and my number one recommended product from the collection HERE.
I’ve put both the red and the gold onto the nail wheel and also the red (Parade Red) with the gold over the top (Gold Shimmer).
In the swatch, its Burberry Kisses in Parade Red followed by Gold Shimmer, Gold Shimmer Lipstick and finally, Gold Touch in Gold Shimmer.
