These lip liners/lipsticks in one really do work but more for an ombre lip effect than realistic liner/lippie combos. The shades that Bourjois has chosen means that unless you’re prepared to blend after application (which somewhat negates the ‘one-step’ purpose) you will have very obvious liner. If that’s your look, great – this stick truly does give a good, defined line and colour infill – but if you prefer a less obvious, ombre lip look, you will need to blend down.
In the swatch from bottom to top: Rouge Tango, Peach Shake, Plum Set Beach, Pink Twice, Mi Figue-Mi Raisin, Grenadine. The shades that work extremely well for an ombre lip are Rouge Tango and Plum Set Beach. I flipped it round for Plum Set Beach and had the lighter shade on the majority of my lip and the deeper shade just on the inner part – it looked really good once I’d blended it. I didn’t find the last great on these so expect to reapply, and I did like the ombre look but it’s not really a one step product unless you like a defined lip line. They’re £7.99 each HERE.

wow! these look a lot like the By Terry lipsticks from their summer launch even some of the colours are similar! I’ll definitely be giving these a try xx
Just as good, too!
