Even though I am one of the only people I know who does next to nothing on a daily basis with their brows because I literally cannot be bothered (it helps to have a fringe) I am convinced by these brow powders. They are so easy to use – it’s a quick swipe with the applicator and the job is done.
I also love the packaging – very glam and a change from utilitarian looking brow products
This is the deepest shade – (3) and I think I could transition between 3 and 2 which is the medium shade. The other shade shown below is 1, the lightest. The idea is that you start with the lighter shade in the dual colour palette on the fatter part of the arch and blend down to a darker shade, presumably because the beginning of your brow is likely to be darker because the hair is denser. I’ve got to confess that I haven’t really done this other than for testing purposes – one shade is fine for me and I couldn’t hugely tell the difference although if you have lighter coloured brows you probably will.
The applicator just makes everything easy – it doesn’t over deliver on powder so you can’t really overdo it by accident and it just gives a very natural brow that can be ramped up with another pass of the applicator for more definition. It’s just a great every-age brow definer for anyone who doesn’t want the immaculate precision of current brow trends. In any case, the ‘Boy Brow’ is on its way and it’s much more about natural looking lashes so this product is spot on for that.
Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder launches in September for £20.

Cool product but not for me!

It would be interesting to know how this compares to Fleur’s Eyelure brow product, seems similar in proposition.
I definitely have to try this! I love Benefit’s brow products!
I would have thought that the inner would be the darkest as it’s more densely packed with hair on most natural brows? Or is it this weird instagram trend for reversed eyebrows that are darkest at the end taper? I’m too old to keep up anymore…
I think that’s what I meant! Ha – I’m beginning to feel the same xx
