Benefit Cheekleaders

I can’t remember the last time I saw a blush ‘set’ – I know Benefit is good at doing cheek selections but there aren’t many brands still doing blush palettes (unless I’ve missed them completely). These two, Mini Pink Squad and Mini Bronze Squad are brand new, and if you like everything in one place, these are pretty handy.

Mini Pink Squad

The first shade is GALifornia, which is a pinky-gold shade that gives a pop to cheeks, second is a new shade, Tickle, in a gold pink highlight format (very pretty) and third is Dandelion which is a low-key baby pink shade.

Mini Bronze Squad

If you’re warmer toned or like to go the bronzing route, Mini Bronze Squad is your option. The first shade is Gold Rush, a gold topped peachy blush shade (the gold is an overspray and soon disappears), Cookie which is a new champagne gold highlighter and the classic Hoola bronzer.

Benefit swatches

In the swatch, Pink Squad followed by Bronze Squad. As you can see, they’re not over the top – they’re very workable shades and although I think they’re pricey at £26 each, I can see them being really useful for a quick cheek-and-go. If you can get past the Cheerleader references, which immediately sets them to a specific age category, a nice, cheek brightening buy. They launch on 15th Feb.
