BECCA Own Your Light Skin Perfector

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Hard to get warmed up about highlighters when the sun is resolutely behind a cloud with no signs of showing it’s face. But, this is definitely one to consider when it finally does if you like a shade-shifting light-catcher.

BECCA Own Your Light

I love the packaging that is a kind of metallic marble reflecting the shifting tones of the product. In the US, $5 from each sale of this particular product goes to a mental health charity but I don’t see any signs that is the case here. In fact, the highlighter isn’t even on the UK Becca site (it’s at Cult instead). With no press release to explain, I’m as in the dark as everyone else here!

This picture gives you an idea of the shift – golden in the pan and pink in the mirror. It’s hard to capture by camera on my skin so I’m pleased that you get the general idea with this. Although you can play about with intensity, the pressed powder in this variant is one for those who like a proper skin gleam – it’s not a shy formula at all so you will look very lit. Although there are light catchers at all prices, and I find £30 to be a lot for this, it’s kind of become a cult product because the formula is exceptionally soft.

You can see the peach and pink pigment in the swatch – they blend together nicely using a large, fluffy brush but I’ve left them as is so you can see the tones properly.  Anyway, if you’re looking for blow out beam, this is your product! It’s HERE, non affiliate HERE.

I am looking at this and wondering if it would be a lovely one-sweep simple eyeshadow?
I mean, until the sun finally comes back out.

      I think you’re right – it would!
