So, you can scribble all the highlighters you wanted to try right off your beauty list and be happy that Barry M has made an epic liquid for £6.99 because it’s all you need. These little bottles of liquid light are punching way above their weight and easily matching, or even bettering, pricier counterparts.
The wonky lids have made me laugh in this picture – it looks like some of them are tipsy! But, this is where budget and high end tend to differ and while the packaging has its issues, there is no issue with the product that I can discern.
Here’s the line-up straight from the droppers before blending in: bottom to top – Moon Potion, At First Light, Liquid Fortune, Beam Me Up and Precious Pearl.
Please ignore the dark stripe running through Moon Potion – my fault for using a brush last used for a dark shade. But, you can see how metallic they are and how smooth they are. If I have to make a criticism of them, it’s that they’re a little oily and stay that way during wear (which of course, on the plus, means they don’t dry out), and they smell of sun tan lotion! But, for the price, they’re absolutely great and a wise budget buy.
The Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighters launch into Superdrug on 20th but keep checking today because Superdrug notoriously upload things when they feel like it, not when they’re supposed to launch.
