bareMinerals Bareskin Serum Concealer

bareMinerals Bareskin Serum Concealer

It’s about time that concealers started catching up with the new foundation textures – bareMinerals Bareskin Serum Concealer is part of the Bareskin family and joins Bareskin Perfecting Veil and Bareskin Brightening Serum Foundation (which I love). In terms of texture, the concealer is light and airy with a serum type slip that means you can blend very easily. I have an on-going battle with concealers – usually what happens is that they make any under eye creases far worse than they were before; they might hide dark circles, but they tend to add depth to creases.

Texture, if you have under eye creases, is everything. Concealers are often dry – the fight between enough pigment to hide dark circles and a loose texture that doesn’t instantly dry the area is ongoing – with texture often losing. The bareMinerals Bareskin Serum Concealer feels hydrating from the get to and stays that way because it contains humectants that quell the ‘dry’. It does feel, as described, weightless.

Personally, I didn’t feel, in testing, that it eradicates the entire problem of ‘worse not better’, so if you have heavy undereye creases, you might want to think twice. However, if your main issue is dark circles, your search is over! bareMinerals Bareskin Serum Concealer launches in February (usually a high point for dark circles!) for £22.

Just sharing my last discovery: Jane Iredale “Enlighten concealer”: that’s the first time I have a concealer that doesn’t make it worst… no creasing, no dryness and good coverage. A little goes a long way, it may be the answer for other readers too.. 🙂
