B Pigments

Everyone’s going mad for pigments right now! Personally, I find them a bit fiddly but they’re often so lustred that it’s worth the extra effort. Superdrug’s B range has brought out a collection of (vegan) pigments, some falling into the Cassie Lomas range and others in the standard B range. They’re what I would call ‘safe’ shades; mostly falling into the nude spectrum of shades (plus one mermaid colour!).

B Pigments

I’m still not over the NYX pigments not tipping out of the holes in the lid so it’s something I really look out for and as you can see, there is ample room for pigment fall when you tip the pot. Ideally, tip it onto a surface (a saucer or something) rather than the palm of your hand, especially if you’re adding a bit of water to up the intensity. I did try adding a tiny drop of water but I don’t think it really upped the colour level significantly.

You can see that you get plenty of gleam from them. Colours from bottom to top: Ziggy, Glamoflage, Its Them, Shine On, Supermodel Sheen.

B Pigments

Bottom to top: Indiego, Steel, (oops don’t know) and Olive La Vida Loca. The reason I’m a shade name missing is that colours are labelled only on the outer packaging and not once the pots are out of the box. I thought I had them all perfectly lined up and written down on a piece of paper… but clearly got lost!

B Pigments

This is Indiego with a drop of water added – there’s a gold shift to this that makes it ‘mermaidy’. Don’t think of these as just eye shades – if you’re all out of glow powder, tip some pigment into the palm of your hand and run a fluffy brush over them before applying to cheeks or wherever you want to. They’re £6.99 each HERE.
