I think it’s unusual that the star of a Christmas collection is actually a box to keep it all in! Anna Sui takes design references from absolutely everywhere but a recurring theme for her is Victoriana – sometimes mixed with Fairytale, Cowboy or Nomad but nonetheless, sometimes (often, actually) it all comes down to the black lacquer that was so popular in the 19th century.
I’m not sure I’ve seen anything like this before – it will certainly hold many, many lipsticks and has a mirror in the lid, but wouldn’t be the place to store your 100 strong foundation collection! It’s £25 HERE.
Speaking of lipsticks, this trio of shimmery tints is also part of the Christmas collection but don’t be fooled – they’re not just for lips. Named Colour Sticks, they give only a tiny hint of colour – it’s more about the sparkle.
