[productsample] I’m more interested in the optional additions to this 3-in-1 foundation than the actual foundation itself, which is actually rather good. It’s called a 3-in-1 because it’s foundation, concealer and primer in one, but quite honestly, I can’t tell whether it’s just a good coverage foundation that lasts well or whether the concealing and priming really are a thing. I’m not sure anyone could tell. Anyway, I do like the idea of adding in some skin care to foundation with the Oil Drops (£14.95) – I used the ‘Energy’ drops that add moisture and antioxidant qualities with ginger and cranberry.
Other options are Defence (avocado oil) and Detox (argan). I added a couple of drops and it gave a nice looseness to the foundation and made it softer on the skin. As well as Oil Drops, 3INA has added Custom Drops (main picture, £12.95) so you can colour adjust as your tone goes cooler or warmer depending upon the season.
In the swatch above: Foundation (209), Custom drops in 600, 601 and 602. There are 24 shades of the foundation, which is £19.95. I like the idea, if time permits, of experimenting with adding things to your base. There is nothing to stop you adding oil drops from whatever you have at home to your regular foundation if you feel like it (in fact, I often do) and colour adjust drops can be used to create a tinted moisturiser. You can find everything HERE or in 3INA stores.
