I wrote about Vitaclean Vitamin C Filtered Shower Heads last year back in about May. It promised softer, scented water and delivered so well on that promise that I’m now a fully paid up customer! I felt the filter and ceramic balls needed renewing so ordered more and discovered that the brand now has a rose fragrance infusion. The original post is HERE but in a nutshell, you buy a shower head and fitting (it’s super easy to fit) that comes with ceramic filter balls and a filter sheet and then you buy the infusions of which there are multiple choices.
I already know this system works because my hair is so much softer after washing but to get a beautiful blast of rose running through the water – it’s just lovely! I think, in fact, that my hair was feeling dry because I hadn’t replaced the filter in a timely manner. It’s not a cheap system, and you do need to be on it with the replacements especially if you’re in a hard water area but it’s pretty much a daily delight. I am now back home, and it seems that the router at work was to blame….for some reason they did not seem eager for me to do some internet shopping while working…. weird people… Anyway, internet at home worked fine, so i just ordered my first set, plus one extra rose scented filter… will be interesting to find how it works with all my shower gels, scent wise!
Oh good! The main difference is in how soft your hair feels…and how much easier shampoo/conditioner rinse out. I love the rose scent – it’s perfect!
Really interesting – definitely notice the difference at my parents’ house (South East) and how soft my hair is compared to at home (South West). Will investigate, looks like this could be a winner!
