Palmers Co-Wash

Palmers Co Wash

Oh lookie! A Co-Wash from Palmers! Billed as a cleansing, no-foam conditioner, they’ve managed to beat Ojon to it in terms of getting it on shelf. And the price point is £5.99 – way cheaper than the Ojon version and certainly reasonable enough to give it a go if you’ve been interested in trying co-washing.

I still haven’t had the nerve to try this trend and genuinely not sure I ever will (love a squeaky clean strand how ever bad it is for my locks!) but that’s two major brands with a new Co-Washing launch this year – there will definitely be more. Palmers Co-Wash is indicated for curly, natural hair and the inclusion of olive oil would suggest to me it might not be right for oily hair, but please do let me know if you give it a go…

  1. I don’t think I’d dare try this myself, my hair gets too greasy too quickly! And my hair is fine, so I wouldn’t want it being weighed down.

I saw that Herbal Essences have released a conditioning cleanser in the US, I might try that if it makes its way over just to have a go… (http://us.herbalessences.com/en-US/product-page.aspx?id=39756)

would love to try this, but my hair is really fine, and don’t want to go to that expense, maybe you could give some freebies out for people to try.

That’s a bit cheeky. She doesn’t even say she received it – it might be just a mention of a launch – and of all the items on her site, you mention this in relation to expense?

I don’t have it – so it’s just to let you know it’s out there.

  4. I have very dry curly hair, so am thinking this would be perfect for me. Good price too – so I think I will be giving it a go 🙂

interesting , I was looking at the WEN products on QVC they are hair ‘cleansers’ no lather products and are quite expensive so might be interesting but I have thin, fine hair so might not be for me.

The WEN lavender one would be a good option for you. My favorite is the Tea tree, i have medium dry hair but the fig is a little much for me. I went WEN 8-10 months ago and i have experienced very positive results my hair is so much easier to deal with now,all i do know is brush it out and walk out the door.

I might give this a whirl it is something different and for the price its worth having a look at.

  7. I don’t see the hype around co-wash. We’ve spent years hating on 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners but now it’s basically bee remarketed, it’s great? Not for me! Xx

      It’s not a 2-in-1, there’s no shampoo in it. It’s a cleansing conditioner.

Oooo I have been looking for an affordable co wash! Might give the Palmers a go
