[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Only today I was talking with someone about how hair care was almost as standard the same price as skin care – especially in the luxury market. It used to be unimaginable to spend more on your hair than you would on your face but these days it is very easily done. Hair care is one of the areas that has seen a habit shift from Covid – people are more prepared to upgrade their basics to a more luxury level and if that’s what it takes to feel a bit more nurtured and comfortable, then why not?
Off the top of my head, I couldn’t remember what was so great about prickly pear oil but a quick search finds it to be high in antioxidants and hydrating properties. It’s naturally high in Vitamin E and rich in essential fatty acids – omegas 6 and 9, vitamin K and amino acids. It’s also not in a ready supply because the oil can only be manually extracted and the harvest season is short. I’m starting to feel a bit more comfortable about the £44 price tag on this serum. I’ve only used it a couple of times but both times my hair had beautiful shine and that just washed lightness for an extra couple of days – on that last point alone I am a fan but who doesn’t want more shine? A 5p amount is about right for my length of hair so you can adjust accordingly – this product definitely feels luxury and undoubtedly delivers on extra-ness so if it’s in your budget, an excellent addition to your hair routine. It’s HERE, non-affiliate HERE. I’ve done a quick extra search and most of the prickly pair hair products from other brands are really pricey too but that’s not the same across the board for skin care where you can find varying prices.
