I don’t know the Willow & Honey range at all, but I do know a jolly good candle when I come across one! I love this one for being not all about the pine or the gingerbread and sitting a little bit outside of traditional festive scents while still being perfect for the time of year. Basically, it’s whatever you want it to be.
What I like about this is the fruitiness comes before any of the spice – it’s juicy oranges before it’s anything else and the background, while distinctly clovey and cinnamony is overkill. In fact, what it really reminds me of is the scent of warm mulled wine. It also has a crackle wick which personally I think is a plus but can quite see how, in the end, it might drive you mad. Crackle wicks are only fun if everyone isn’t doing them and this year I’ve seen a distinct lean towards crackle wicks which can only mean that by next year, there will be even more!
Anyway, it’s £32 HERE, and is handmade in the UK with soy wax.
