I’ve been sent the SpaceNK Shimmering Spice candle several years in a row now – this year, I found myself looking forward to its arrival and thought that if it didn’t arrive, I’d buy it because it would be missed. So, it’s funny how things seep into your thoughts and become a part of your ritual without you even noticing it – there really aren’t many products that I’d actually miss, but unexpectedly, I found one!
It’s a nice mix of wood and spice – cinnamon and cedar mainly, reminding me of cinnamon toast and cosy nights. It’s not too sweet but neither is it too resinous… it’s not a complicated scent – they just got this one right for raising the mood and feeling special and I love the jewelly looking glass. It’s also, in the sea of £££ candles, quite reasonable at £26 for the larger size (175g) and £16 for the smaller (75g). You can find them both HERE.
I like a Christmas candle – Jo Malone, Jo Loves and Diptyque are among my favourites (Diptyque’s are coming up soon in a different post) but I also love Cire Trudon. Having never been a ‘Christmas’ candle person, I think I’ve turned!

They smell wonderful! I must confess I bought last year’s candle in the post Christmas sale and it’s ready and waiting to be lit this year.
I’ve got one of these ready to go from last year’s Space NK sale too! Also just bought a Cire Trudon candle in the Black Friday sales as a 50th birthday present to myself. They really are like works of art.
