I don’t often cover men’s fragrance but this is something quite different and very well worth exploring when it launches in September because I think you will want any significant men in your life to smell of nothing but this! Shay & Blue is a creative brand – they’re not just knocking out commercial scents for the big win, they’re putting some real thought and individuality into their fragrances… would you have considered pineapple alongside sichuan pepper side by side?
Mostly what I get from this is pineapple and leathery woods which turns out to be a heady and exciting mix. The fragrance is succulent, warm and woody – if you’re a traditionalist in fragrance gender then it’s decidedly masculine too, but most of all, it’s different and rather addictive. I can see this scooping all of the fragrance world awards. It’s £85 – if you see it, spray it!
