[productsample/affiliate] I don’t usually venture into male grooming territory but Roger & Gallet is one of Mr BBB’s favourite brands so I’m happy to make an exception.
This is the right side of cologne for men who don’t particularly like ‘scent’ as such. There’s a light sharpness to it with mint and an added dash of lemon that makes it slightly sporty. I’d say its a ‘traditional’ male fragrance – it does smell very masculine so its intent is not to be unisex – the woody down notes seal that deal.
Maybe you’d think that the inclusion of mint makes it summery but to me it does feel winter-ish because of the wrapping wood notes. It’s clean and uncomplicated, traditional in nature but with a little twist of zest and freshness that stop it being old fashioned. The best price I’ve found it at is £26.25 from Escentual, HERE.
