[purchase] Pina Colada is definitely the theme of the week (and bathing – more to come on that theme, too)! I was recommended this small brand and as soon as I saw a ‘pinka colada’ candle in amongst the myriad of fragrances, I had to have it.
As soon as the jar lid comes off you get a satisfying blast of coconut and pineapple that’s exactly the right mix of the two main players. It’s lighter in throw than I was expecting which makes me recommend it most for a smaller room or for anyone over-sensitive to scent that finds big throwers somewhat overwhelming. I burned it in my kitchen and while I didn’t get a ‘whole room’ impression, every time I passed it I got a little waft of creamy colada.
I had it burning for a couple of hours and the wax has hardly gone down at all which is impressive so there is plenty of last for a £5.99 candle. There are lots of different scents, from Strawberry Shortcake to Chocolate Orange, or you can build your own three layer candle mixing up whichever scents take your fancy (£10.99). A single candle is 190ml. Find them HERE.
