I remember when Pacifica Fragrances were brand new, and there was only one website in the whole of the UK that you could get it from. I wish I could remember the name of it because it was way ahead of its time (it was something to do with travel, I think) in bringing over US and hard-to-find brands. I don’t know what happened to it but I do remember using it a lot as a reference for cool brands that we’d literally never heard of here on this little island! Pacifica Fragrances still aren’t that easy to get hold of in the UK but easier now that they’re stocked in places like Planet Organic.
Pacifica FragrancesThere is very much an exotic theme to Pacifica; lots of coconut, vanilla and Tiare, but also more traditional notes such as rose and gardenia. Format wise, you can spray it, roll it or rub it (solid fragrance) and if you love that kind of all-American sweetness to your perfume, Pacifica is an out and out winner. They’re just kind of happy scents that make you smile.
In terms of last, reapplication is a pleasure – to get that burst of Tahiti all over again – so while they won’t last all day long, it doesn’t matter to me at all. They’re there to be enjoyed so, good.. I don’t mind enjoying it two or three times a day!
Pacifica is a vegan brand (I notice they’ve just started producing some rather nice looking make up over on the US side of things) and currently there’s a third off HERE so it’s a good time to try if you fancy it. Prices are around the £10 mark.

I love Pacifica fragrances! The Island Vanilla and Coconut are my favorites. They make a very true to life Lilac scent too, which I love! The deodorant wipes are also genius, and most of the makeup is a hit too! 🙂 How’d you like the Star Jasmine? I haven’t tried that scent.
I love it actually.. really beautiful!
The website I remember (which I loved) which opened up like a picture book with the products within was My Vanity Case. I was so sad when it disappeared as it stocked lots of goodies which were hard to find in the UK at the time.
yes!! I knew someone would remember.. whatever happened to it!
Am absolutely addicted to it. I want to bathe in large vats of Ruby Guava. I leave the soap in my room so it permanently smells of it! It makes me deliriously happy!!
They sell Pacifica in large Tesco Extra stores 🙂
