Olivia’s Haven Peach Bellini Candle

[unpaid/sample] Well, this is all of the summer moods! Peach Bellini is a limited edition candle from Olivia’s Haven and it’s currently powering away in my kitchen making it smell like cocktail hour at the beach bar.

The thing with peach is that it’s very hard to replicate in fragrance form – I think, in fact, it always has to be synthetic although don’t quote me on that. But, it does allow for an amplification of the note – this is sweet and juicy with syrupy aspects that as the burn continues are sharpened by lemon.

Peach Bellini is a very optimistic scent that’s generous in both spirit and throw – it’s fun and fruity which I guess is what we all want our summers to be. If you don’t like sweet scents, it’s not for you but it’s really made me crave peach juice (I can pass on the champagne although prosecco is a different matter – why is it SO drinkable?) so that’s straight onto my shopping list. Olivia’s Haven candles are hand-poured in Ireland using soy wax and have a 45 hour burn time. There’s a complicated ‘drop’ system in place which means a new candle in the limited edition Cocktail Collection goes on sale each Monday. This week it was Espresso Martini and for next Monday it’s impossible to say – it could be Peach Bellini or it could be Ginger Fizz – this feels like an arrangement purely set up for mail subscribers so if you feel keen you could subscribe for them HERE or you could wait a while because I suspect they’ll be part of the core collection (Espresso Martini sold out very fast so the demand is obvious).  I don’t know that for a fact but it has all the hallmarks of an inflated rush.
