[unpaid/sample] When Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum arrived, my first thought was that it had really better smell of bubble gum. It’s a long time since I’ve had any but I’m still tempted by an Anglo Bubbly if I see any (which I rarely do) – they still feel like an absolute treat and they’re what I used to spend my pocket money back when they were 1p each!

Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum

The box tells you what you need to know about this fragrance – that it’s bright, colourful and fun. But, it’s not as much about bubble gum in its pure form as you might think. I like a sweet fragrance in moderation – Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum isn’t something I’d reach for daily, but perhaps more when the mood is right every now and again. The bubble gum notes are accords, so it’s nuanced within the scent, rather than dominant. Other notes you will pick out are fruits (orange and lemon), then rose notes with a dash of ginger and cinnamon and a middle of cedar wood so that the fragrance doesn’t turn into sprayable dessert.

Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum

Perhaps its best described as a spicy gourmand with floral tones – hard to truly categorise but very well worth a sniff next time you can just to see what your senses pick up from it. The Perfume Shop has it HERE for £39 if you know straight away that you’re all in on this olfactory confection.
