Jo Malone Peony & Moss Charity Candle

I like the way that Jo Malone always puts as much effort into their charity products as they do with everything else. It’s not always the case, and charity products can often end up looking a bit apologetic. The newest offering is the Jo Malone Peony & Moss Charity Candle launching in July that supports their charity gardens. It’s so worth looking at their website HERE to find out more about this inititative because there are now several gardens that support mental health issues.

I feel that if life feels very bleak for any number of reasons, being part of a community that has a sense of purpose and peace can be very helpful. Mental health issues are so damaging to individuals and their families that anything positive is a big contribution, not to mention the fact that the NHS struggles to support everyone. Initiatives like this that go along, mainly unseen by us, are crucial, so if you have birthdays or weddings to buy for, please do consider the Jo Malone Peony & Moss Charity Candle. The fragrance is pretty much as described – an earthy, green floral. It’s £44 (of which Jo Malone makes a donation equal to 75% of the retail price less VAT) from July.

Mental health is not a glamorous topic. People tend not to donate much or often, so poorly funded is an understatement- I’m glad to see Jo Malone breaking the norm! I’d put down money for this (a cause after my own heart, plus it’s PEONY) but y’know…I’d need £44 first :’)

Regardless, it’s a beautiful candle and raising awareness is a wonderful thing.

  4. Never had tries thes candles but adooooore fragrances!
