[productsample/affiliatelink] If you read this site often, you’ll know my biggest beauty chore is hair washing. I can lounge in a bath for as long as, and as often as, you like, but washing my hair feels like hard work. There are things that make it better (rose scented shampoos is one thing) – the promise of an orange blossom spritz at the end of the effort is definitely an incentive.
Orange Blossom is my favourite Jo Malone London fragrance – it’s one of the originals and just smells of happiness to me. It’s a burst of summer, of sunny warm days and I can still remember the inspiration for it (a spell for Jo in Beverly Hills and her hotel room opening out onto an orange blossom garden). Since I smelled it, I’ve never not had a bottle in the house and that must be over a decade. When I’m feeling spendy, my hand wash is the same scent.
While there is still a great deal of the original in it, this is a new version of Orange Blossom. It’s so close, in fact, that I didn’t initially realise and if anything, it’s an amplification of the original. So, it’s not dropped out of my favour for a little reworking. This falls completely into a non-essential, practically speaking, but the pleasure of it is so much that it feels positively necessary for the dreaded hair wash to feel less onerous. It’s £44 HERE non affiliate HERE. It’s also available in Star Magnolia.

Ah 50ml…..that wouldn’t hurt €€ as much as the 30ml edt does, and hair mist seems fine to me to use as regular scent; did this with Chanel No 5.
This looks and sounds heavenly…..I bought a very good dupe only yesterday for €7.50! and while it’s lovely, Jo M Orange Blossom is really special.
Happy for you with this spring scent Jane; lovely review and a must-have now
Thanks Cal – I did the same with Chanel!
Where can i buy The Jo Malone bitter orange perfume
I think that their Regent Street store carries a lot of the fragrances you can’t get on line – you could give them a call.
