[productsample] Well, hello! This is a very new take on solid fragrances – a double pocket locker for fragrance combining. Pick your two favourite Jo Malone London fragrances from ten (my favourite, Orange Blossom, isn’t there!) options and you have a travel ready, handbag handy perfume.

The palette itself is small – it fits in the palm of your hand – but it’s quite chunky and you couldn’t call it feather-light.

Options for the solids are Lime, Basil & Mandarin, Basil & Neroli, Pomegranate Noir (this is so popular that everyone would forgive you for buying two the same and having a Pomegranate fest in your carry-on), English Pear & Freesia, Blackberry & Bay, Peony & Blush Suede, Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Mimosa & Cardamom, Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Oud & Bergamot.

Of COURSE it has it’s own little dress! I love the idea of this for travel as well as the option of changing your fragrance mid-way through the day (I mean, who carries two fragrances everywhere?) or if you’ve combined, going larger on one than the other depending upon your mood. It’s a beeswax formula so not suitable for vegans but has a very smooth application feel.

I think this looks like a great gift as well as treat-to-self and of course, while it’s luxury pricing, it’s not as steep as I was expecting. The palette itself is £24 with individual solid fragrances coming in at £14 each which comes in at £52. There is a slight price variant for the ‘intense’ fragrance versions making them £16 each. They’re on the site but not ‘live’ yet (you can sign up for notifications or just wait a week or so) other than as part of the Fleur de Force set which is Golden English Pear & Freesia with Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Actually, it’s very pretty with ribbons and a pink bag – thinking of Mother’s Day here just in case you’re stuck for ideas. It’s HERE non affiliate HERE.

interesting idea!
Have you tried these Jane? Do they last a long time on the skin would you say?
Yes – they’re not built to last in the traditional sense – you’re supposed to re-apply often. Although I know that’s pure marketing so you use it up more quickly, I actually don’t mind it with JM fragrances – I am happy to be regularly spritzing Orange Blossom which is my favourite scent.
How do the palettes fit together? Could you stack three of them?
No, two is all you can do.
