[unpaid/ad/sample] Bearing in mind that some noses are more sensitive than others, fragranced candles at lower intensities aren’t as easy as you might think to find. Not quality ones, anyway. I think I got a bit overwhelmed with fragranced candles over Christmas – I try to use any samples up because a festive candle in June just isn’t the same so found this Plush candle from Iris Design, a Hertfordshire based florist, rather soothing.

Iris Design Floral Plush Candle

It scents the background, not the foreground, with warm and fruity notes – a bit of green, a bit of fig and a gentle comfort (although it’s described as energising I didn’t find it so). With a 50 hour burn for £18 it’s great value especially as £1 from every sale (of everything site wide) goes to pancreatic cancer charities. It’s not for you if you like a mega-blast, but it is for you if prefer a nuanced olfactory companion. Find it HERE.
