While it’s pouring down with rain outside (which I really don’t mind because my garden is loving it), the thing that’s really giving me cheer today is the Cuban Mojito candle. I love a mojito and this is the right side of sweet mint for me but not going to leave your kitchen smelling like you’ve been on a cocktail bender all afternoon.
Obviously, the clue is in the name – the summer collection for Yankee is all things Havana. My next favourite is Delicious Guava – it’s so fruity! Viva Havana (blue) is a spiced, sandalwood infused vanilla representing old Havana, but it’s not for me – I want really fresh scents at the moment. Not pictured is Tobacco Flower, which is woody and creamy but a bit too vanilla for me.
Yankee has a tendency to sweeten all their fragrances up and for some scents it works really well, such as Mojito and Guava and these don’t seem to tip into the ‘too sugary’ category. I’m going to enjoy burning the rest of them and think they’re a bit of a snip at £6.99 HERE at Lovearoma.com.
