[unpaid/ad/affiliate/sample] I honestly love a hair mist as a way to wear fragrance, especially if your hair is just freshly washed, glossy and swishy – it seems the right crown to wear on something you’ve toiled over. I really don’t relish washing my hair – or rarely, at least – it just seems such a faff and if I had to redesign humans, I’d definitely give them hair that never needs washing!

This falls into the oriental wood category but it also has unexpected sweet accents that come from jasmine and rose. I’m not a woody fragrance fan particularly but I’m telling you that rose and jasmine give it a new aspect that makes it a whole other thing! When I spritzed it I got some almond notes that disappeared quite quickly but predominantly, you’ll get oud, a bit of leather, a dot of amber and a floral wrapping around them.

If you’re very opposed to oud then it’s probably not for you and it does settle to that note, make no mistake, but hair mists in general are a lovely thing so you could cast your net more widely to find something that does appeal more. This is £81 so probably too expensive to take a risk on but everyone from Dior to Gucci have them and as a treat for all that washing effort, I’m in! It’s HERE, non affiliate HERE.
