You’ll have to get yourself into the mind set of this being a ‘skin smell enhancer’ rather than a traditional fragrance. It’s 100% in keeping with the brand which is really starting to imprint its philosophy and point of difference with products like this. It’s very light – it reminded me straight away of Japanese fragrance in its delicacy so if you like a blast of perfume, it’s not for you. It’s somehow almost like a secret scent – something that at first nobody will know you’re wearing but if they get up close, it’s you but more so. It’s about intimacy – whether you care to share or not – and an understated sensuality.
The notes are ambrette, ambrox, musk, iris root and pink pepper but my over-riding sense from this was warm and woody: it’s your olfactory favourite Sunday sweater – comfortable, clean and comforting. But light.. don’t forget light. It’s $60 (they ship) HERE.
