[productsample/affiliate] Oh my! This is the most beautiful perfume bottle I’ve seen this year. The bottle is red lacquer lined on the inside which is why the colour is so vibrant, and looks similar to the Armani Prive fragrance range which is £250 a bottle.

Giorgio Armani Si Passione Red Maestro Limited Edition

I’ve never got along with the Si range – it’s just not my kind of fragrance but there’s a solar jasmine note in this which changes everything! The fragrance starts with a distinctive fruity twist – it’s obviously blackcurrant and very sweet and juicy. Pink pepper, which I find hard to identify, is there, as is vanilla and white musk. It’s perhaps the vanilla musk mix that doesn’t suit my nose perfectly but there’s something quite moreish about the blackcurrant and jasmine because I keep going back to my wrist for a sniff.

If you like juicy-fruity fragrances, I think you’ll find this quite joyful – because of the dramatic red colour and the ribbon, I think I was expecting something patchouli and deep, but it’s really quite light. After some time on the skin, the notes do get more sultry but the fruit stays and prevents it from being weighty. Definitely worth a spritz if you’re in a store that stocks it – at £100 it’s a luxury buy but you’ll cherish the bottle long after the perfume has gone. You can find it HERE, non affiliate HERE and have managed to find the 50ml version for £74 as well as the 100ml.
